In my role as Design Director for a property development company undertaking projects along the east coast of Australia, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with many other architectural practices.

This has entailed establishing the project brief and design philosophy, selecting and appointing the appropriate architect, and then overseeing the design process and delivery to ensure the best outcome is achieved from both a design and a development perspective.

This has allowed me a unique insight into the workings of other Architects and expanded my architectural knowledge and design expertise considerably as a result. It has also confirmed the importance of a Concierge Architect role, experiencing first hand the strengths and weaknesses of the profession from an unbiased and objective point of view.
