Gold Coast Bulletin - Clive Palmer Expands His Sovereign Empire by Lisa Hughes
One of the first Gold Coast projects undertaken by the principal of LDS has now sold to Clive Palmer, after an extensive sales campaign that commenced in 2017 with an asking price of $24 million.
Designed for a German superyacht builder, the house features extensive use of cutting-edge European technology. It was designed with longevity and sustainability in mind using marine grade materials throughout.
Luxurious interior finishes imported from around the world include Venetian Murano glass, Botticino marble floors, 24ct-gold leaf pool tiles, original Antoni Gaudi Barcelonan front doors, and a bespoke stainless-steel staircase manufactured in Italy and shipped to the Gold Coast in one piece.
